Cool TV Ads we like

Watching TV in a foreign country really opens up your eyes to the culture.  Seeing what they advertise, and how they sell things to the people.

We’ve seen lots of frankly disturbing adverts for skin whitening products – products with names like “Fair and Lovely”.  I’m not going to embed this one but if you want feel slightly sick watch this, this advert was aired in the middle east, but the’re advertising it here too:

It’s mad, one half of the world wants a nice tan and the other half want to look whiter!

On a (ahem) lighter note there are also some really funny ones.  We’re going to collect the best ones and put them on this page.

This advert for “Happy Dent” chewing gum just somes up how crazy India is! It’s very funny and has a really catchy tune!
